Position Overview
The ideal candidate lives and breathes Web3 culture. You should know how to speak the language of Crypto Twitter, tap into narratives, and create content that spreads organically. Beyond posting, this role requires end-to-end ownership of client Social Media accounts, building narratives, sparking conversations, and turning projects into movements.
You’ll manage accounts across X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Telegram, Discord, and more, while also engaging directly with communities. Comfort with Discord/Telegram setup and management is essential.
If you’ve been through multiple market cycles, host/participate in X Spaces or podcasts, and can drive both reach and authenticity, you’ll thrive here.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-platform social media strategies tailored for Web3 audiences and beyond.
- Create and curate engaging, high-quality content (threads, memes, short-form video, infographics, polls, AMAs, carousels).
- Manage and grow online communities (Discord, Telegram), including setups, bots, automations, and moderation (You’ll have a team of moderators, but will at times have to take ownership and chat in the channels as well)
- Host or moderate interactive sessions (X Spaces, AMAs, community calls, webinars).
- Track platform algorithms, industry trends, and Web3 narratives to keep accounts growing and relevant.
- Cultivate relationships with KOLs, influencers, ecosystem partners, and community leaders.
- Collaborate with PR, Marketing, and Creative teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
- Track performance metrics, deliver insights, and adjust strategies to optimize growth and engagement. Present growth and updates to clients on a weekly basis.
- Bring in new tools, ideas, and strategies to improve department performance.
Must-Haves
- Proven experience as a Social Media or Community Manager in Web3/crypto.
- Deep knowledge of Web3 culture, CT, memes, and digital trends.
- Strong content creation and copywriting skills (threads, memes, campaigns, narrative-driven content).
- Hands-on experience managing Discord & Telegram (structure, bots, moderation, growth).
- Deep understanding of social media algorithms and analytics. (Gamechanger)
- Track record of community growth and engagement, not just posting.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills. Comfortable speaking to clients.
Nice-to-Haves
- Been through multiple market cycles (able to speak from real experience).
- Active presence in the KOL/influencer ecosystem.
- Comfortable on camera or moderating live events.
- Experience hosting podcasts, webinars, or X Spaces.
- Familiarity with AI tools in social media workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
